We follow the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) school year calendar with the exception of beginning and end dates. We also follow FCPS for inclement weather delays and closings.

Aug. 27 - Rabbits Parent Meeting (Mandatory) 7:30pm (adults only)
Aug. 29 - Koalas Parent Meeting (Mandatory) 7:30pm (adults only)
Sep. 3 - Move into Glade Room
Sep. 5 - Orientation (Option 1) – 1:00pm (adults only)
Sep. 6 - Orientation (Option 2) – 10:00am (adults only)
Sep. 10 - Koalas First Day of School for 1/2 of class
Sep. 10 - Rabbits First Day of School for ½ of class
Sep. 11 - Koalas First Day of School for second 1/2 of class
Sep. 11 - Rabbits First Day of School for second ½ of class
Sep. 12 - Koalas First Day of School for full class
Sep. 13 - Rabbits First Day of School for full class
Oct. 3 - No School (Rosh Hashanah)
Oct. 4 - No Rabbits Class ( FCPS Teacher Work Day)
Oct. 24 - Fall Parent Education Night 7:30pm (Glade Room)
Oct. 31 - No Rabbits Class ( FCPS 2 Hour Early Release)
Nov. 1 - No School (FCPS Early Release)
Nov. 4 - 5 - No School (FCPS Student Holiday + Election Day)
Nov. 27 - 29 - No School (Thanksgiving Holiday)
Dec. 23 - Jan. 3 - No School (Winter Break)
Jan. 20 - No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday)
Jan. 29 - No School (FCPS Student Holiday) 
Mar. 6 - Spring Parent Education Night – 7:30pm (MANDATORY - adults only)
Mar. 31 - April 1 - No School (Eid-Al-Fitr+Teacher Work Day)
April 10 - 11 - No School - Teachers Attending PCPI Conference in Vancouver, BC
April 14 - 18 - No School (FCPS Spring Break)
May 22 - Last Day of School for Koalas
May 23 - Last Day of School for Rabbits
May 27 - Move Out of Glade Room
May 28 - End of Year Picnic - 11am (Location TBD)
